We love Britney Spears and are ride or dies for her. We think that she’s one of the biggest talents of our time and we want to give her the time and space that she needs, because none of us know what she’s truly gone through. That being said as she navigates moving forward, we will always be cheering her on.
Her latest song, Mind Your Business, is a collaboration with Will.i.am and the pop superstar hasn’t done press for it (we’re not surprised and totally support that, because like the press isn’t nice to her all the time), but Will.i.am has and he had some interesting stuff to say.
All of it, having her back and not giving away info that no one needs to know and if we’re being honest, we admire that.
Now there’s been a lot of questions about the song, including asking when it was recorded. Truly, we don’t feel like it matters. We’re just happy to get new music from Britney.
But Will.i.am addressed the rumors and questions when speaking with Variety, “They ask, when did I record this with Britney? And is that really Britney on it? Yes, it is. When did I record it? That’s not important.”
He continued, “Not everything should be instant. If you want to make great wine, there’s no such thing as instant wine. Intoxication on anything that you consume takes a while. S**t’s gotta sit around for a minute … fine-tune it, perfect it.”
And hey it is perfect so we appreciate it a lot.
