Sometimes a movie kinda gets you just because of the names involved. You look at the cast, and they give you one measly picture and you’re like okay, say no more, I’m in. When’s the date? Searchlight Pictures has given us a date for All Of Us Strangers, and it looks like one of those movies. You know, the ones that don’t need to do more to convince you.
Andrew Scott.
Paul Mescal
Claire Foy.
Jamie Bell
Need we say more? We probably don’t, right? The movie is set to premiere on December 22nd, 2023.
Here’s the synopsis, in case you are one of those people who does need more to be convinced:
One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (a screenwriter, played by Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal) that punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As Adam and Harry get closer, Adam is pulled back to his childhood home where it appears his long-dead parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) are both living and look the same age as the day they died thirty years before.
Starring Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell and Claire Foy, All of Us Strangers was written and directed by Andrew Haigh.
