Sometimes you read a synopsis or look at some pictures for an upcoming movie and you know the movie is going to destroy you. I swear, some movies are literally planned for you to cry. Hilary Swank’s Ordinary Angels seems to be one of those. And it’s based on a true story too? Nah, that’s already too much and we haven’t even gone into the information that has been released.
We don’t have much in the way of pictures, but what we do have and the poster are enough for us to worry. There are even tears in this! They release one picture of Hilary Swank‘s character, and she’s already crying! That doesn’t bode well for us.

Plus, there’s the synopsis:
Based on a remarkable true story, ORDINARY ANGELS centers on Sharon Steves (Hilary Swank), a fierce but struggling hairdresser in small-town Kentucky who discovers a renewed sense of purpose when she meets Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widower working hard to make ends meet for his two daughters. With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels.
And just in case you needed more to be convinced that this is going to be an all-out assault, here’s the trailer:
Yeah, so ..tears. That’s where this is going, right? Hopefully, there’s some joy too. And a happy ending, please. We cannot take tears and tragedy in this day and age.
Ordinary Angels will be in theaters on October 13th.
Looking forward to 1 day seeing this movie
