It’s the dream to meet Taylor Swift. Like a lot of us Swifties, we’ve imagined what it would be like, how kind she would be, and what we’d talk about. We’d ask about something great, right?
The reality is we’d probably have a panic attack, freak out, and want to crawl into a hole. We’d worry we smelled, that we were saying the wrong things – hell, that we were embarrassing ourselves.
We don’t get star struck by many people, but we do get star struck by Taylor Swift. She’s inspiring and such an artist. We believe that in 100 years, Swift will be looked back upon as one of the greatest artists of our time. So yes, we would get sick to our stomachs and not know what to do.
So yes, we totes understand Meghann Fahy getting nervous and feeling sick when she first met Taylor Swift. We also totes understand her crying, cause lets be honest – who wouldn’t?
“Meeting Taylor Swift was…I couldn’t have been more starstruck. I almost threw up before meeting her. I saw her from across the room, and I just started crying involuntarily. I was so embarrassed,” Meghann said in an interview with W Magazine.
She continued by saying, “I was like, I cannot say hello to her with tears in my eyes. I have to pretend to be semi-normal, but I don’t think I fooled her. She put her arm around me, and she was like, ‘you’re fine.’”
