After 20 years without releasing a song together, NSYNC is apparently getting back together for Trolls 3.
According to an insider at Entertainment Tonight, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Lance Bass are getting back together for Trolls Band Together. In the sequel: Poppy discovers that Branch was once part of a boy band, BroZone, with his brothers: Floyd, John Dory, Spruce, and Clay. But when Floyd is kidnapped, Branch and Poppy embark on a journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd.
Trolls Band Together stars Zooey Deschanel as Bridget and Justin Timberlake as Branch. At first, it makes sense that the NSYNC members would play the brothers Floyd, John Dory, Spruce, and Clay. But Troye Sivan, Kid Cudi, Daveed Diggs, and Eric André are playing the brothers. And they themselves are notable singers in their own right with multiple albums and accolades combined.
So basically, we’re assuming that this reunion song is going to play during the movie or be part of the soundtrack. And while various members have previously gotten together to perform at weddings (Ryan Cabrera and Alexa Bliss’) or onstage at Coachella with Ariana Grande, this is the first time Timberlake is reportedly set to reunite with NSYNC.
