Slotherhouse might be the height of strange slashers. We’ve seen Winnie the Pooh go down the slasher route in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Then there was The Mean One, a slasher about the Grinch. And we can’t forget ThanksKilling, The Gingerbread Man, and Evil Bong. But there’s something about this innocent and cute-looking animal going down the slasher route that hits differently. And we’re intrigued.
This sloth slasher tells the story of sorority sister Emily Young. She’s on a campaign to become president of her sorority. And what better campaign mascot than an adorable sloth? The problem is that this sloth is sick and tired of humans. And they are willing to take those three razor-sharp claws and go to town to destroy this sorority. So as her friends start dropping, Emily must decide on how far she’ll go to stop this adorable animal.
And honestly, we’re on the sloth side. Just watch the trailer and tell us if you agree. We know Kristen Bell would.
