Sometimes the internet knows what you need and gives it to you. It’s as if they are listening to everything that you are saying and everything that you aren’t saying. But what Prime Video seems to have heard us all when we cried over the second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty being over.
They released bloopers for season two and we have to admit, we laughed and our hearts were happy.
The official synopsis of season two read, “Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah’s cancer, she’s not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah’s beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.”
The second season of the show added Kyra Sedgwick and Elsie Fisher to the cast, and they played Susannah’s sister and niece.
The adaptation of Jenny Han‘s book also stars Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Alfredo Narciso, Rachel Blanchard and Tom Everett Scott.
