Sofía Vergara has transformed into Griselda Blanco in the first teaser trailer for Griselda and it’s honestly welcome. Too often in Hollywood actresses are pigeonholed into being prim, perfect, and not messy. And Vergara has been put into that stereotype since the beginning of her career. This mini-series, which tells the true story of infamous drug lord Griselda Blanco’s rise to power, is Vergara stepping out of her comfort zone into something wild, unapologetic, and where she gets her hands dirty. And we can’t wait to watch.

In 1970s-80s Miami, Blanco’s lethal blend of unsuspected savagery and charm helped her expertly navigate between business and family, leading her to become widely known as “the Godmother.”
