We worry a lot about Britney Spears. We probably worry too much about the singer, but that’s just because we love her. Doesn’t matter what happens, Spears will always be one of the most iconic performers of our time and she helped to define a generation.
With her book coming out next month, Spears is in the news more than normal. One thing that she’s in the news for, that we’re really excited about, is that her movie, Crossroads, will be back in movie theaters.
Yes, you read that right. Crossroads with return to 875 theaters between Oct. 23 and 25 as part of a fan event. The event will also be part of a launch of Crossroads inspired items – shirts, sweats, jackets, and recreations of the iconic looks from the film.
Crossroads is the story of, “three childhood friends, Lucy (Britney Spears), Kit (Zoe Saldana) and Mimi (Taryn Manning), who, after eight years apart, rediscover their friendship on a cross-country trip. With barely a plan, practically no money but plenty of dreams, the girls catch a lift with Mimi’s handsome friend Ben (Anson Mount) in his convertible. Along the way they not only gather experiences that will change their lives, but they also discover how important it is to hold onto their hearts’ desires.”
Have you seen the film? What did you think of it? Will you be heading back to theaters to see it?
