When it comes to Taylor Swift, we stop and pay attention to everything that she does. We don’t think about it – it just happens. Our bodies and our minds are trained to activate our inner Swiftie and we’d have it no other way.
Overnight, 1989 (Taylor’s Version) was released and it’s all that we’re going to be listening to. The vault tracks, “Slut!,” “Say Don’t Go,” “Now That We Don’t Talk,” “Suburban Legends” and “Is It Over Now?” are all amazing. We’re not sure which one is our favorite, but we’re going to be figuring it all out. After we listen to the tracks about 1000 times.
Taylor posted to Instagram to celebrate the release, with new pictures and a letter to her fans.
“I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the re-release of this album I love so dearly. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic would you sprinkle on my life for so long,” she wrote on the last slide of the post.
She continued, “This moment is a reflection of the woods we’ve wandered through and all this love between us still glowing in the darkest dark. I present to you, with gratitude and wild wonder, my version of 1989. It’s been waiting for you. Taylor”
Thank you Taylor. Thank you for continuing to give us greatness and make us all feel special.
We’re off to listen to 1989 as many times as possible today, but you can see her post below.
