We all knew that when it came to Wonka, Timothee Chalamet would be asked about his personal life. First, all actors are asked about their personal life (it sells and it brings the clicks) and second of all we’re all curious.
When it comes to Timothee Chalamet, we all want to know about his because the images of him and Kylie Jenner are burned into our retinas. A lot of us would like to burn it out of it, but hey, here we are.
As much s*** as we can say about it, have to admit that we’ve got some respect for Timothee Chalamet, because when asked about his private life, while doing press for Wonka he told GQ, “I can’t say that this stuff doesn’t matter because my intense fandom has led me to where I am.”
He also said, “This reminds me of that recent South Park episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour. Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life.”
If you aren’t familiar with that episode it focused on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Bold. Very bold to choose that one.
