On April 6, Penelope Featherington fell in love with Colin Bridgerton…and Netflix celebrated the beginning of the Polin story with fans with a new clip from Bridgerton season 3 in which longing is the protagonist! Ready?
Here we go!
At the beginning of the clip, Colin is looking at Penelope with longing overflowing from his eyes while even though she doesn’t move and doesn’t look at him, her breathing accelerates feeling that same longing. Then, Colin reaches up to touch her skin as his longing for her only grows but he hesitates, he doesn’t know if he should do it, he doesn’t know if she’ll let him.
Finally, Colin does it. He touches her skin and the hem of her dress… Penelope is surprised. It’s the first time he’s touched her like that. Skin to skin. So she dares to raise her hand and touch him. Penelope hesitates to intertwine her fingers but, finally, she does. It’s the first time that they let themselves be carried away by what they are really feeling.
These initial doubts speak to how their intimacy is new to both of them, how it still feels unfamiliar but, at the same time, it feels like the most right thing in the world.
Bridgerton season 3 part 1 will be available on May 16, 2024, on Netflix.
