We know that we’re late on this, but if we’re being honest, we weren’t sure we wanted to write about it. Timothée Chalamet‘s fandom can be scary if you don’t write nice things. Then there’s the people that if you do write nice things, they have a lot to say about how you support the Kardashians by supporting Chalamet.
Truth is though, we don’t mind the Kardashians. Not going to hate on people doing their thing.
Chalamet playing the iconic singer/songwriter, Bob Dylan is something that everyone should be talking about. Fully aware that not everyone may know who Dylan is, but you should. His words defined a generation and still impact people today.
The movie is entitled, A Complete Unknown and focuses on the Dylan era of the 1960’s. It’s set against the backdrop of the West Village, where the 19 year old Dylan arrives from Minnesota. His talent is set to change music forever. It’s about Dylans rise in the music industry, the relationships that he makes, and the way that he refuses to be defined.
Refusing to be defined is something that we could all learn to do.
Directed by James Mangold, the movie is set to be released on Christmas Day. In addition to Chalamet it features an all star cast including, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro, Boyd Holbrook, Norbert Leo Butz, Scoot McNairy, Dan Fogler and more.
The poster for the movie has been released and it’s both folksy and simple. But it works.
