It does feel like animated movies are made into live-action movies left and right. We hadn’t thought about Frozen becoming one before. After Anya-Taylor Joy’s comments, it’s all that we can think about.
The Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga actress has said that her dream role in a musical would be to play Elsa in a live-action Frozen movie. Why? Well, it’s one of the most relatable reasons that we’ve ever heard.

“I really want to do a musical because I’m a little too obsessed with my current job. I love the challenge of completing impossible tasks. I think that’s incredibly motivating for me, so the idea of being able to sing, dance, and act at the same time is really exciting to me,” she said in an interview with Vogue Hong Kong.
Doing things that scare you is highly relatable. If you think that’s the only thing relatable, you would be wrong. The second reason is the most relatable of all. Especially, if you are an auntie.
She continued, “I think Frozen is going to be great. Shooting ice cubes out of your hands can be a lot of fun. And, you’ll be the favorite at every kid’s birthday party. All my siblings have kids now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My aunt is Elsa.’ That would be great!”
We understand, Anya. Being a hero to your nieces and nephews is such a blessing. We speak from experience there.
