Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 1 “A Monster in the Field” is the beginning of a new era for this show, and we gotta admit it’s going to be hard for us to get used to it. We’re Boden’s kids in a way, as much as the characters on this show are. And we are going to miss him very much.
But move on we shall, and hope that the storylines the new boss is bringing aren’t storylines about how much we hate him. We’ll say that from the pictures, he doesn’t look all that friendly. We get it, different leadership style from Boden and all, but would it hurt him to smile?
At least there is good news! Carver (Jake Lockett) is back, which means Violet is going to have to face whatever happened between them. Hopefully we can get somewhere with the two of them because the back and forth has been getting kind of old at this point. And there’s also Stellaride to keep us happy! But the show better remember we need answers to how that baby convo from Chicago Fire‘s Season 12 finale went. Don’t leave us hanging here! Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 1 needs to give us answers, thankyouverymuch.
Plus, we gotta see big bro Severide. Now that part we cannot wait for. And Cruz being a little jealous and wary of it? That actually tracks and doesn’t sound like a bad storyline, if you ask us.
Here’s everything we know about the episode:
