I know that Jennifer Hudson was on American Idol, but when I think of her, I think of Smash. When she was on the show (which was gone too soon) she sang this song called I Can’t Let Go. It’s a song that got me through a heart break and one that I frequently replay.
Jennifer Hudson has the voice of an angel, so I am excited that her voice is coming to Countdown to Christmas. If you’ve been around here awhile, you know that I am trash for Countdown to Christmas. Two things that make me happy? Sign me up!
The singer has a new song for Countdown to Christmas is entitled, Let There Be Joy. Joy is definitely something that we all need in life. With everything that is going on in life, a moment to let go and to feel the joy of Christmas… yes please.
It is the 15th anniversary of Countdown to Christmas, and the song is the anthem for the Hallmark Joy to Your World holiday campaign. Additional songs from Hudson’s first-ever holiday album The Gift of Love will also appear in upcoming Hallmark holiday programming.
