Though some people seem to forget that we are in the midst of a pandemic, but we are. And to be honest, I don’t expect a lot of things to stay the same because it is all about everyones safety, as it should be.
I know that we all want to be able to head back into a movie theater, but it will be a long time before we are able to return safely.
That means that movies are always shifting and so just know that we have to be open to things shifting.
Respect, the Aretha Franklin pic, starring Jennifer Hudson has been postponed due to the pandemic.
The film had already been moved. It has been moved again from January 15, 2021, and will now be released on August 11, 2021, MGM announced on Tuesday, October 27th.
The movie will be, “following the rise of Aretha Franklin’s career from a child singing in her father’s church’s choir to her international superstardom, Respect is the remarkable true story of the music icon’s journey to find her voice.”
