There is nothing like a mothers love and the way that they will do anything to protect their children. They will move heaven and earth to make sure that their kids are safe and the movie BLITZ is an example of a mother being willing to do just that during WWII.
Saoirse Ronan, Elliott Heffernan, and Paul Weller all star in the drama that comes from Sir Steve McQueen.
Blitz follows, “the epic journey of George (Elliott Heffernan), a 9-year-old boy in World War II London whose mother Rita (Saoirse Ronan) sends him to safety in the English countryside. George, defiant and determined to return home to Rita and his grandfather Gerald (Paul Weller) in east London, ensues on an adventure, only to find himself in immense peril, while a distraught Rita searches for her missing son.”
The movie looks equal parts intense and heartbreaking in this trailer.We may have jumped a few times as we watched bombings and crashes. There may have been some moments of watching from behind our shirt as bombs exploded.
