Law & Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 2 “Excavation” is almost here, and we have just the sneak peek for anyone who wants to see more of Captain Curry (Aimé Donna Kelly). But based on what happens here, at least one person involved in this case is going to want to see less of her. Actually, that’s a little bit of an understatement. This guy doesn’t want anything to do with Curry — or anyone else from the Special Victims Unit, for that matter — at all. And he doesn’t want his daughter talking to them either.
In the clip below, Curry is in the middle of trying to gain some insight from our victim’s sister when her father forces them to cut the conversation short. Looks like the second he’s done being questioned, all he wants is his lawyers — plural. Now, to be fair, as Detective Bruno points out, “guy’s an ex-judge.” So, he could just know how the system works and want to be as careful as possible. Or, you know, dude’s a walking red flag. Either way, Curry vows to give him the fight he’s looking for…and you’ll just have to tune in to see how it all goes down.

So, what else can you expect from the episode? The synopsis from NBC is below:
“Devastating repressed memories come back to a woman when she finds an old notebook in her family home. Bringing charges in a decades-old crime proves even more difficult for Carisi when a powerful judge stalls the case.”
Sounds like Carisi is going to have to work even harder than he did to get that big win in the season premiere…
Law & Order: SVU Season 26 Episode 2 airs Thursday, October 10 at 9/8c on NBC.
