Following the events of High Potential Episode 3, in High Potential Season 1 Episode 4 ‘Survival Mode’ Morgan is very excited to finally get her LAPD badge that officially accredits her as part of the team. She doesn’t care about feeling like she’s a cop, she never wanted to be one, but that badge is a symbol of the new direction of her life and that she belongs there, with the team, and for someone like Morgan who never felt like she really belonged anywhere, that’s tremendously significant.
However, Karadec doesn’t see it that way. That badge to him means rules and order, everything that Morgan is not and he doesn’t fully agree with her getting a badge because, if she’s already pretty uncontrollable without it, he doesn’t know what will happen when she has it. We just hope that Karadec can understand why that badge is important to Morgan.
Also, the case of the week of High Potential Season 1 Episode 4 ‘Survival Mode’ is going to hit close to home for Morgan. It’s about a missing child and that is something that always affects us more because a child is so vulnerable… but, in addition, being a mother, it’s inevitable that Morgan’s natural empathy is triggered because she can perfectly put herself in the shoes of those worried parents who are desperate to have their child back by their side. And we are here for some scenes of Karadec comforting Morgan, just saying…
