There’s a part of me that didn’t think that I could ever be madder at Margaret, and then at the same time thankful that she’s willing to take chances. If there is one thing that happened in this episode of Found, it’s that Margaret took me by surprise. And we’re not talking like it shocked me a little, we’re talking full on took me by surprise.
Margaret rarely makes me think twice about her, but this episode she made me wonder what she is up to, but also thankful that she’s taking initiative to make sure that they can do the job without Gabi.

Before I dive into the episode, I don’t really understand why it is that Margaret is so mad at Gabi that she can’t seem to see straight. She’s so angry over everything in the past that Gabi has done with Sir, but she doesn’t seem to want to hear anything that Gabi has to say. I am not saying that what Gabi did was right – it wasn’t. What I am saying though is that we really can’t understand her PTSD, the same way we can’t understand Margarets.
In this weeks episode, Margaret saw the news about a four year old that was found walking along the road. She looks at his features and sees that he has the same features as someone that has been missing for years – Adella Diaz.
Adella went missing years ago and no one has heard from her. She vanished without a trace and the police didn’t seem to handle it well. They ended up blaming the parents – the father specifically – and ruined his life.
But, this episode – one thing that we need to pay attention to is that Christian is back. I am not sure why Christian would want to return, but he’s there. It had to have been a lot for him to deal with – finding that his brother killed his Mom. Christian and Hugh had very different experiences, even though they grew up in the same home.

What I was shocked about is that Christian decided to show up at M&A, taking Gabi by surprise. He claims that he wants to help find his brother and though I want to believe that is true, I also believe that Christian is AFRAID of his brother. He’s terrified of him. No one can really blame him for that.
FOUND is strong in the sense that it wants to show the complexities of relationships in all their forms. It doesn’t matter who we are dealing with – which characters and which moments – FOUND is going to find a way to show us that everyone is not the same and that the way that people react is different.
Gabi wants to find Sir and bring him to justice, but for now, when she finds that Margaret has called the Diaz family, she’s going to help solve the case and bring Adella home. She doesn’t want to play by all the rules, she knows that in finding Adella she’s on borrowed time. That means that she needs to go to the police station and ask the little boy if he knows Adella.

And he does – he identifies her as Mama.
Though I am aware that I am going to need to suspend belief, because there is no way that the police would let Gabi near the child to ask if he knew the women in the picture. After he identifies her as Mama, I had to cringe a little. Not because of the scene – but more out of fear as to what could happen to Adella.
While the team is doing everything that they can to figure out what happened to Adella, they also notice that Margaret is spiraling. She’s not the woman that she’s been and it’s almost as if she’s the woman she was after her son was taken. Watching the show, I didn’t know if Margaret was trying to find redemption for herself or if she she was trying to prove to herself that she wasn’t broken. Either one however, posed a problem for me. The reason? She didn’t do anything that was wrong.
M&A working as a team to try and figure out what happened to Adella keeps you guessing. They’ve found an old boyfriend, looked at the parents, and yes, at a certain point, Sir comes back into play.
He goes to see Christian and tries to set his brother straight. Sir lives in a state of delulu and thinks that threatening his brother is going to do it for him. Christian, like everyone else is terrified. Sir sees himself as this savior and a victim both, and that he’s in this position where he’s also saving everyone else from their own demons and own mistakes. His delusions are what keep him isolated and in a manic state. Yes, I am no doctor, this is an opinion.
It’s because of Sir that they are able to find Adella, which, I both hate, but I also know that it’s a part of the story. I wished that Gabi wouldn’t have listened to Sirs recording, but we are in a space where I don’t think that Gabi know how to separate herself from Sir and push him out. It’s partially because she wants to find people, but also because he’s got her so messed up.

Sometimes it does seem that the only person who really wants to heal here is Lacey. She’s struggling, just like she did as a child. That doesn’t mean though that she’s going to give up. She takes on working with Adella’s son, but it’s also something that helps her. She remembers things because of it – like the fact that Sir is working with someone else.
But who is Sir working with? Who shouldn’t we trust?
That may be something that it takes awhile to figure out.
However, in something that comes full circle – at the end of the episode we see that there is an arrest. Margaret has been arrested. The question is what for? What has happened?
FOUND knows how to end on a cliffhanger and keep you anxiously awaiting the next episode. We’re on the edge of our seat. Are you?

This episode was so good on so many levels. Like you, I am both furious at Margaret and grateful that Adella and her son are safe. Because of what Margaret started.
Trent’s continued harshness towards Gabi and his father telling Gabi to stay away from Trent saddened me because I really do ship those two.
I loved the ending with the questions of “Why was Margaret arrested?” You know it has to be bad if Trent called Gabi to come to the rescue; and “Who is Sir working with?” I suspect it is going to be a game changer.
