There are some things that make us really happy and one of those things are some live action movie adaptations. One that we’ve been looking forward to is a live action adaptation of Tangled.
And it is coming.
When you tell us that Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the writer/director/genius, has written the latest version of the script – you have our attention. She’s someone that we look up to and someone that we learn from. She’s written such movies as Do Revenge, Thor: Love and Thunder and I Know What You Did Last Summer. Not to mention that she created Sweet/Vicious. And then she directed Someone Great. We just love her!

Now Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) has entered negotiations to direct the live-action adaptation. We would love for him to be a part of the live-action movie, because well, we LOVED The Greatest Showman.
The original Tangled starred the voice talents of Mandy Moore as Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as the charming thief. The movie made over $590 million worldwide, and garnered an Oscar nomination for original song “I See the Light.”
We’re going to need this and more information on it ASAP.
