We’re back! High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs’ is a transitional episode and, while it offers some progress in the search for Roman and some cute moments between Morgan and Karadec, it does so too slowly for our liking. Ready?

Subliminal Messages in High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs’
Morgan and Tom meet again in High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs’ but things feel really awkward between them. Tom got the message when she didn’t answer his calls or texts but the point is that Morgan wasn’t sending any message — at least, consciously — she was simply so absorbed by the case that she didn’t have time or energy for anything else.
However, even if Morgan doesn’t realize it, this does send a message because when you care about something or someone, you are present, you don’t forget about them, and you always make room for them. But it doesn’t matter too much because Tom is moving to San Diego. This disappoints Morgan because she has decided to give what is emerging with Tom a chance…and, as for him, he doesn’t quite know what to do.
On the one hand, Morgan stopped answering him and didn’t give him a place in her life but, on the other hand, in High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs’ she is there, right in front of him, apologizing and taking the initiative, making it clear that she is interested in him. Finally, Tom decides to give Morgan another chance but, if we are honest, we don’t think they have much of a future.

Unbreakable Bonds
While Morgan’s personal life is a bit shaky in High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs,’ family life is going better than ever. For the first time, Ava opens up to believing Morgan over Roman. Up until that point, Ava had always thought her crazy and naive for still believing in Roman and trusting that he hadn’t abandoned them, but Ava is realizing that certain things about her father don’t fit.
Her mother is no fool and she always believed there was something more about Roman and now, with all these details that don’t fit… is it possible that it’s true? Ava isn’t sure about anything right now but, if she has to believe in someone, she will always believe in her mother. She just wants Morgan to know that she is open to whatever may happen and that she doesn’t have to hide from her what she finds out because they will face it together. And we love seeing how this very special relationship between mother and daughter has strengthened over the episodes.
This whole Roman thing reaches Karadec’s ears in High Potential Season 1 Episode 9 ‘The RAMs’ and there is a moment where he is hurt that Morgan didn’t tell him, but it quickly disappears when he understands that it is something very difficult for Morgan to face and it’s even more complicated for her to share it.
But Morgan feels the need to apologize to Karadec, just so he knows that it was never about her not trusting him and Karadec understands that. He just wants her to know that he’ll be there for her, whatever she needs. And we think Morgan will need his help sooner rather than later because the search for Roman is getting more and more dangerous and mysterious.
