We had to wait a week longer for Chicago Fire Season 13, Episode 10 “Chaos Theory,” and we’re still pretty much asking why, Joe Cruz? Why? He seems to be fine, and by fine we mean alive, which we all know isn’t really fine if we want to consider a wholesome definition of the word. But we’ll take alive for now. However, with an investigation looming and Severide in charge, it’s all looking not great for Cruz.
But at least Stella is back! Stella Kidd makes everything better. We’re sure Kelly Severide will agree, even if he’s going to end up caught in the middle of Joe Cruz’s mess by virtue of being his Lt. and the person who dabbles in OFI business. May the odds be in Kelly Severide’s favor and all that.
Also, how is all of this leading to the crossover? And why has Pascal been so quiet lately? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am not in love with the Joe Cruz storyline. It is realistic that someone associated with Flacco would be released from prison and cause problems for Cruz. I guess Joe’s marital problems with Chloe are suddenly solved. I think her anxiety over Joe’s job and the pressure she faces as a spouse of someone who puts their life in jeopardy would have been something better to explore. I see the cross over angle as Cruz is going to need Hank Voight to do Hank Voight things to clean up this mess. Voight and Pascal could be an interesting pairing, I would not be surprised if we find out that they have crossed paths before or even have some history.
I agree, I would have have liked to see them expand on the Chloe issues more. And I actually wouldn’t mind the Voight and Pascal thing, I do think it would make sense.
