It’s a weird thing to watch life and love be complicated for your grandparents, but for Alice she doesn’t have a choice but to watch. On The Way Home, the pond keeps sending her and her Mom to 1974 for a reason. What that reason is? Well we have yet to figure that out.
As with all things The Way Home though, we feel like we’ll get there in due time. Right now, we have so many questions on Alice and Evelyn’s friendship. We also need to understand Del and Evelyn’s friendship and what tore that apart.
We just wish that we got more pictures showcasing Jacob, because this season, one thing that feels a little bit dragging and yet at the same time missed is Jacob and him opening up. He’s got a story and we want to learn more about his story.
We want to learn more about his life here.
We do see the picture of him at Lingermore and that gives anxiety to this writer. Jacob has been through a lot there – it doesn’t matter that it was like 200 years ago.
The one liner for this weeks episode is, “Romance is top of mind as Alice, Kat, and Del reflect on love in their past, present, and future. Meanwhile, Jacob struggles with his memories.”
