Things that we never thought we’d say after Camp Rock – The Jonas Brothers are doing a Christmas movie for Disney+. Things we also never thought that we’d say – Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star, Chloe Bennet, is also going to be in this movie.
Yes, we’ve learned this year that everything is going to shock or surprise us.
Earlier this week the Jonas Brothers announced in one of the most cliched ways that they were making a Christmas movie. You would almost think that the Love Actually scene is the only thing that one can do to announce things.
They captioned their announcement, “Too early for Christmas? 🎅🏼 Nah. The Jonas Brothers Christmas movie premieres later this year, only on #DisneyPlus!”
The movie will be about, “Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.”
It was then announced that Chloe Bennet was cast in the movie as Joe Jonas’s love interest. Definitely didn’t see any of this coming. She will be playing, Lucy, who is a “cardiothoracic surgeon and childhood friend of Joe’s. Sparks fly when they bump into each other at the airport.”
Oscar winner Jessica Yu will serve as the director for the movie. Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker as writers and producers alongside the Jonas Brothers, Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan.
