Congratulations are in order to Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell! The two are brand new parents to a baby girl, Tove Jane McDowell.
The two announced the birth of their little girl, who arrived via surrogate, on Instagram.
“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell. Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible surrogate and everyone who helped us along the way. We love you to the moon and back again…” Lily captioned her Instagram post.

McDowell and Collins relationship began in 2019 and were married in 2021. The two are absolutely adorable. You can’t deny the picture that of their baby girl is adorable.
Some people are being unkind to the two about having a baby via surrogate, which is UNCALLED FOR. McDowell took to the comments to address the comments in a classy AF way. We woulda cussed people out.

“Thank you for all the kind messages and love. We are overjoyed and very grateful.
In regards to the unkind messages about surrogacy and our path to having a baby— it’s ok to not be an expert on surrogacy. It’s ok to not know why someone might need a surrogate to have a child. It’s ok to not know the motivations of a surrogate regardless of what you assume. And it’s ok to spend less time spewing hateful words into the world, especially in regards to a beautiful baby girl who has brought a lot of love into people’s lives. That’s all for now because she just pooped and I need to change her diaper.” he commented.
We couldn’t agree more with McDowell. The two should be in a moment of bliss bringing their baby girl into this world. We wish them nothing but the best and all the happiness in the world.
