What do we know about Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?
Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock/Daredevil, confirmed at a recent convention that filming for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 would begin in late February 2025. The actor expressed his excitement about continuing to play the character. Plus, he mentioned that he would be willing to do so for many more years to come. He even joked about the possibility of playing a 60-year-old Matt Murdock, referencing the upcoming comic book storyline “Daredevil: Cold Day in Hell.”

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again will consist of nine episodes. It will serve as a direct continuation of the Netflix original series. In addition to Cox, the cast includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher.
The series will explore both the friendship of Matt, Foggy, and Karen. The trio have now found stability in their relationship as a team, and the life of Matt Murdock in his two versions: lawyer and vigilante. Meanwhile, Fisk pursues his own political ambitions in New York. And though there’s no mention of this in the synopsis, there’s our ship. Yes, our ship. Because Jon Bernthal is back as Frank Castle. And having Karen and Frank in the same universe together again means the show can pick up where we left off after the cancellation of The Punisher. And we love it! Kastle for the win!

Benson and Moorhead returning to direct the second season has raised expectations. In Loki Season 2 they demonstrated their ability to combine action, mystery, and emotional development of the characters. This fits perfectly with the dark and complex tone of the show. Disney+ has also decided to start filming Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 before the premiere of Season 1. This is a very good sign of confidence in the project. Therefore, we can expect many more intense stories set in Hell’s Kitchen in the coming years.
Daredevil: Born Again season 1 will premiere on March 4, 2025 on Disney+.
