We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – we follow the careers of the actors in fandoms that we love or have loved. Fandom is something that we don’t grow out of and one of those is The Vampire Diaries universe. So yes, we’re excited that Nina Dobrev has a new role.
The actress has been posting on her stories that she had been traveling to the land down under (Australia) and so we assumed she was up to something. Now we know why. The actress has joined Russell Crowe and Kartiah Vergara in Bear Country, which is now filming in Queensland.
The movie is an adaptation of Strip by Thomas Perry. According to Deadline, “the aging yet formidable club owner, Manco Kapak, who has been robbed by a masked gunman. Now, his aspirations of selling his club and riding off into the sunset alongside his girlfriend appear more distant than ever. Cartel bosses are breathing down his neck and a young upstart has been posing as the new guy in town eager to purchase the club.”
Dobrev will be playing a bank teller who finds herself involved in the crimes. We’re anxious and excited to see Dobrev in any role. We know she’ll be great.
