St. Denis Medical Season 1 continues to be a comedy with laughter and heart. And each week, we learn a little more about the characters. On St. Denis Medical Season 1, Episode 13, “Some Famous Internet Guy,” we’ll meet Nurse Alex’s daughter, Ella. Since Alex was promoted to Supervising Nurse, her life has been busier. She’s trying to manage being the mother her daughter needs while balancing a hectic career in the medical field, where she works long hours.
On her day off, she brings Ella to work to see Colby Twill, one of her daughter’s favorite performers. Because Ella has only ever seen what Alex’s husband Tim does for work, Alex is excited about this because it’s the first time her daughter will see where she works, and she’ll get to prove that her job is just as cool. If you’ve been watching St. Denis Medical since it began, you know there are no typical days at the hospital. That means we’ll be in for some interesting stuff, and maybe Ella will be too.

Ahead of an all-new episode, we were given an exclusive sneak peek of St. Denis Medical Season 1, Episode 13, “Some Famous Internet Guy.” In it, we see Alex and Ella arrive at St. Denis, where they run into Serena and Matt. From the clip, it’s clear that Ella already has a tight bond with Serena. What’s also clear is that Alex is struggling to connect with Ella.
Ella appears a little embarrassed by her mom’s attempt to look cool. And Alex sees that Ella is heading into that teenage territory quicker than she would have liked. Somehow, she feels like she’s missing moments because of her job. Nevertheless, we’re hoping that Ella eventually sees that her mom is pretty awesome.
