Right now it’s Rachel Zegler’s world and we’re just living in it. This is not a complaint. This is an acknowledgement that she’s fabulous. Her as Snow White is something that we’ve been looking forward to.
As she makes her way around the world doing press, we’re firmly seated and paying attention to her interviews AND all of her performances of Waiting on a Wish. She’s got the voice of an angel and we’ll be taking no other comments about her at this time. Well, unless positive ones.
Her performance in front of Alcázar de Segovia Castle in Segovia, Spain, was amazing.
This morning she was on Good Morning America and it was adorable. She spent time with little Snow Whites. She spoke about playing the iconic character, changes from the original to this iteration and kindness in the world.
“I think every young person dreams about a phone call like that. I’ve been lucky to have a few of those in my life, but this one is certainly extra special,” she said after she had remarked that playing Snow White was the honor of a lifetime.
She continued, “As a huge Disney fan, she’s the first Disney princess that was ever created in the 1937 film. To get to bring her to life in such a unique and special way it’s just a beautiful opportunity. I’m very honored.”
She also performed Waiting on a Wish – which moved many to tears. See it below –
