Meghan Markle. When you say her name, some people will say that they love her and not like her at all. We think she’s pretty great – even if you want to think that she is coming across as the most basic of basicness. Who knows, maybe as we sit and watch her we’ve embraced our basicness so we appreciate seeing it in others.
Especially a Princess.
Now, we love her even more after this one. She has become vulnerable by coming back on social media and it leaves her open to comments. The host of the Not Skinny, But Not Fat Podcast, Amanda Hirsch had left a comment on one of Meghan’s posts and said, “You guys I’m scared for Meghan.”
Why? Why would anyone be scared for her? Well we can think of a bunch of reasons – especially since the internet is a BRUTAL place. Meghans show on Netflix has had mixed reviews and seeing what people have had the balls to write has been pretty wtf and omg.
Meghan responded to Amanda and said, “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part—let’s enjoy it.”
Did we mention that she didn’t reply online, but instead wrote a card on monogrammed paper. Hirsch shared the story on her Instagram stories saying, “Remember I said I was scared for Meghan’s new show and the possible hate she would get bc for some reason ppl wanna hate on her about everything?”
OMG WE’RE SHOOKETH
“Like, obviously framing this. Beyond shook. Beyond spiraling. Did I smell the paper? Yes! Do I want my own monogram? Yes. Am I absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed. FUCK. YES. @meghan, you have a fan for life,” she said on the second one.
She also posted a pic of the card.
We sat and stared at the card, impressed with Meghans handwriting. Yes, we can read cursive, but we’re also wondering why the big arches on so many different letters.
Hirsch captioned the post, “OH MY DUCHESS.”
We also read the comments and our favorite reply to Hirsch and Stassi Schroeder wrote, “Um. If I don’t get a handwritten note in my mail soon this is gonna get mad awkward.”
A lot of people just responded with OMG or were impressed with Meghans penmanship.
