The Final Destination Bloodlines trailer shows that this installment will delve into the origins of the macabre force stalking the protagonists, connecting the present with the saga’s past. Shocking and creative deaths will continue to exist in this film, if the trailer is any indication. Meanwhile, Stefanie will follow her grandmother’s instructions to discover how her family’s past holds the answers she needs in the present.
In fact, we see Stefanie consulting a strange older man, who seems to know more than he’s letting on about the curse that haunts his family. Although his identity is not explicitly revealed, we all recognize his voice and presence: it’s William Bludworth (Tony Todd), the enigmatic character who has appeared in several previous installments as someone who understands the rules of Death better than anyone.
Now, William becomes an ally in Stefanie’s quest to find a way to stop Death before it’s too late. The problem is, Death isn’t something you can stop. Will Stefanie be able to appease it enough to leave her family alone? We’ll soon find out!
Final Destination Bloodlines will be released in theaters on May 16, 2025.
