The Rookie Season 7, Episode 12 Preview: ‘April Fools’

Following the events of The Rookie Season 7 Episode 11, taking the photos, promo, and synopsis as a starting point, let’s speculate about The Rookie Season 7 Episode 12 ‘April Fools!’ The day starts off in chaos for the entire LAPD. In true The Purge style, someone thought it was funny to joke that all crime is legal for one day. And well, let’s just say no one remembered that, especially on a day like that, you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the internet. Because of this “joke,” the entire department must be on their toes to face a horde of citizens who think they have nothing to lose.

In the midst of all this, in The Rookie Season 7 Episode 12 ‘April Fools,’ Nolan begins training a new rookie who seems less experienced than he should be. He certainly won’t make it easy for him. As for Chenford, Lucy and Tim will play a joke on the team. And we still don’t understand how that fits in amid all the tension. However, it seems like they’re going to have to talk about something more than just what happens that day to plan this joke, and that makes us happy!

However, it’s the promo for The Rookie Season 7 Episode 12 ‘April Fools’ that has us glued to our seats! The spot shows Lucy going to Tim’s house to sleep with him since “it’s April Fools’ Day and it doesn’t count.” And we’re not going to lie, what we see in the spot excites and scares us in equal measure. We want Chenford to get back together, but we still remember what happened on Valentine’s Day and don’t want a repeat of that. The good thing is that there’s little left to know about exactly what will happen!
