It’s kinda strange how when something happens that is so secondary, you may move past it, but other people may not. Air transportation isn’t an easy thing, but I do know the safeguards that are in play are there for a reason. They can definitely be an inconvenience, but they are there for safety.
Personally, I love that one of the safety things that are in place is to protect children. Hugh Grant was frustrated by it and tweeted about it. He said, “Just came through Heathrow with wife and children. We all have the same last name (Grant) on our passports. Immigration officer engages my children in chit chat then whispers to them “Are these your Mum and Dad?” . Intrusive, insulting and creepy.”

Hugh and his wife, Anna Eberstein were traveling with their three children – John, 11, Lulu, 8, and Blue, 6. I can understand where he’s coming from, but I also think that if he’s looking at the bigger picture, he’d see that they are trying to keep kids safe.
Fans were quick to point out that the questions were in place to safeguard children. One person, ShaniaNotTwain2 wrote, “This is standard operating procedure, my sisters and I were asked this multiple times, it’s their job to ask, if their line of questioning stops one child from being trafficked, then it’s worth it”

“Are you upset there are child protection measures in place or that you weren’t recognised?” a Twitter user named Kingbingo_ asked.

We wanna know – if it was you and your kids, would you be upset? Or would you just move on? Let us know.
