If there is one thing about Found that you can count on – it is that it will be intense no matter what episode it is. But when you watch Missing While Heather, one thing that you will realize is that everything else has been child’s play. Missing While Heather was a realization that this shows twists and turns will always be there, but sometimes there will be so many that you can’t move.
You need to watch every single second.
You need to listen to every single clue.
Found has so many storylines going at once that at a certain point it can feel overwhelming, but it’s also exciting and captivating. In this episode we’re on the cusp of wrapping up a lot of storylines and just starting them in the same breathe. We find out who Heather is, we find out who kidnapped Jamie, we find out the lengths Sir will go to for Gabi, and we find out the lengths that this team will go to for each other.
But we also start over – thinking about how answers change everything and always just present a new path to go down.
It can be confusing.
But it can also be an exciting hour of television.

HEATHER
One thing that we’ve all learned to trust is Margaret’s super powers. Her observations are sometimes annoying, but also they are almost always right. I found it amazing that she knew that Heather was Lena, but also was impressed that the team didn’t question it. They knew that they needed to trust her and figure it out right away.
I think that the team was taking a big chance by telling Trent, but also hoped that he was able to see that them telling him meant that there was a large level of trust for him. Trent, he may have been weary of listening, but it didn’t mean that he wasn’t going to take in everything that they said and run with it.
In his own way that is.
If Heather is Lena, that means that he was played. For Trent, that has to be a big thing. He prides himself on being a police officer and a detective and so for him to not be able to figure something out would mean that he has been manipulated. But if he’s going through that what does that mean about his perception.
I do think that it was a blow to Trent and do believe that he knew that the team at M&A was right. I believe that he knew that because he reported the relationship with Heather to the District Attorney.
She wasn’t pleased about that. Definitely wasn’t pleased that he was relooking at the death of Christian. She was not going to take the possibility of not being able to help Sir – because Hugh Evans was her brother. Granted she most likely killed Christian Evans so, what would make one brother more important than the other? Well, that would be loyalty.

WE KNOW WHO TOOK JAMIE
I think we can all agree that none of us really likes that Sir helped Margaret figure out who took Jamie. However, no one can really be surprised about it. It’s kind of a strange thing – how Sir seems to know everything. But even with this one, I am not sure that he knew what he was walking into. He just knew the clues.
I don’t think that he knew that Carrie – the person that took Jamie – was always there for Margaret during the first years of Jamies disappearance. He just knew that she was the person that took Jamie and what clue to give. I think that giving that clue gave him satisfaction. He likes to be in a space where he can manipulate.
But for Margaret it was a stab to the heart.
She trusted Carrie. She believed in her. Seeing Carrie and able to tell her that Jamie is back home and for Margaret this is probably the worst acting that she’s ever done. She’s so passive aggressive that it is kind of scary. But you can also see the fear in Carries eyes that Margaret knows.
It’s that train sitting there on the counter that makes Carrie know that Margaret does know. I am not going to lie, I took some joy in her fear. There was something about seeing her squirm that made me feel like screaming with joy. I find the joy in Margaret getting answers, but also able to stand up to the person that ruined her life.
Carrie wants out and Margaret says that she can’t let her go in good conscious, with the blackout. Margaret is throwing jabs and I have to admit that I am in awe of all of the burns that she is delivering. Carrie though, she isn’t going to be stuck in this place. She’s afraid of getting caught and is afraid of the worst.

THAT ONE LADY
Heather/Lena is really just a pain in the backside. She doesn’t want to seem to take responsibility for anything and seems to act as though she’s a victim at every single turn. It’s quite frustrating that she doesn’t seem to realize just how trashy that she is acting.
Heather doesn’t understand her brothers fascination with Gabi and that’s the only thing we can understand about her. Cause we don’t get it either. We’re not even close to understanding that.
But Heather doesn’t seem to want to do anything but have people fall at her feet. She wants to be praised for the lengths that she is going to for her brother but also not realizing that she’s never going to get that. Each person in this family has issues – ones that are never going to help any of them get over their past. However, that being said, I think that each is certifiable.
Heather updating her brother about Trent, he’s pretty sure that Trent needed help to figure out who she is. Heather on the other hand just wants to keep telling her brother that it’s Gabi’s fault that he’s where he is.
Ummm…. your brother did the kidnapping. Just saying.
I think that none of us will ever understand any of the Evans family. And that is okay. It’s fine. Because I don’t want to understand that level of crazy.
Heather/Lena is a wildcard. I don’t think that we’re going to be able to really know what impact she’s going to have yet, but when we do know and figure it out – it will change things for a lot of us.

I AM NOT GOING ALONE
Look, we all knew that there would be a moment that Gabi would go to the prison to see Sir. It’s not something that well, I thought it would take this long. But I can appreciate that she went in there to try and help everyone, but it also made me frustrated that she feels like she needs to do that.
I think that one of the best things though was that Ethan went with her. Ethan doesn’t have to have any allegiance to Gabi, but he does it for Dhan. At least that is what I believe. Ethan is supposed to stay with her, but when they find out that Margaret has figured out who kidnapped Jamie – Gabi sends him to call her.
Do I agree with Ethan leaving her? No. But then I am glad he does when an all out fiasco happens and the power goes out. I screamed when Sir picked Gabi up and put her in the cell with him to protect her. I screamed when she talked him into letting her out to get a cell. There was me who clapped when Dhan sent people to get her.
Does Sir protecting her for a bit resolve him? No. Not even close. What it does is remind us all how horrible that he is as a human being that she’s in another traumatic situation because of him.

THE GAMES
Carrie ends up staying and I think it was only to not draw attention to herself. But she knows that all the attention is on her. When she and Margaret sit to play scrabble – it’s when Margaret spells out TRAITOR that you know that all bets are off.
The confrontation that ensues is one that is dramatic – as we knew it would be. But it also worried me with how Carrie didn’t seem to understand that she had done anything wrong and finds herself gaslighting Margaret. She is detached from reality.
The mistakes for Margaret comes when she turns her back for a moment and Carrie gives her blunt force trauma to the head. Carries runs and I was a little worried as to who would be able to save Margaret.
It’s Jamie that finds her and gets her help. Jamie knows that it was Carrie that did this, but she says Margaret fell. He’s taking a stand though and he is not going to put up with this. He asserts that he’s Jamie.
You can see the love that this kid has for his Mom. I still am finding issue why it is that he doesn’t want to tell his Dad or sisters that he’s back or why he never went to his Dad for help. These are things that I am always going to wonder a bit about.
I just hope that Jamie remains a person that realizes that his Mom loves him. That his whole family wanted him. I hope that he sees that he was wanted and that Carrie was in the wrong here.
And I know that it is not always Jamies fault. He’s been through a lot and he’s really messed up. But him being messed up is really not something that he would want to deal with. He doesn’t get just how many issues that this has caused him. Yet I believe that he’s always been begging to be free from all of the lies and control that he’s been subjected to.

OTHER THOUGHTS
- Zeke and Lacey need to figure their stuff out. How he’s treating her is not fair and the things that he’s being distant about make no sense to be. I get that he’s going through stuff but so is she
- Knowing that Ethan was okay makes me happy, but also like the things that Gabi must have been going through it
- Dhan’s loyalty we can all learn from
- Is there anyone that Dhan doesn’t know? I feel like he knows everyone
- Zeke – I really want him to realize how loved he is and how he deserves more in life. I feel like he is a person we need to wrap up in love
- Carrie hurting Margaret… I hope she’s found and incarcerated.
- The way Zeke pushes Lacey away. I hope he finds that she’s okay with who he is now and isn’t asking to change him. She wants to be with him the way he is.
This episode was intense! I am worried that Lena/Heather is going to come after Gabi if she gets taken off of Sir’s case.
Lacey, you deserve better than how Zeke is treating you right now. I’m very glad Lacey left the key behind and wasn’t willing to put up with Zeke’s denial.
“Does Sir protecting her for a bit resolve him? No. Not even close. What it does is remind us all how horrible that he is as a human being that she’s in another traumatic situation because of him.”
I have seen people online angry at Gabi(no you are reading right) because she didn’t melt at Sir helping her.
Another fantastic episode. So much happening, so many answers provided, and so many questions remain.
I too fail to understand Jamie not wanting his father and sisters to know he is back. I thought the final scene would be Heather/Lena confronting Gabi and going full crazy, not someone claiming to be the real Heather showing up.
In yet another verbal battle between Trent and Dhan, Trent finally says what we the viewers already knew, he loves Gabi. Dhan’s taking it down a notch once the admission came, speaks volumes in terms of the love for and protectiveness he feels towards Gabi. Part of his anger at Trent was rooted in Trent’s momentarily turning on Gabi with the Sir reveal. Now that he knows that Trant still loves Gabi, he might only want to clock him one 8/10 interactions they have with one another.
