Chicago P.D. Season 12, Episode 22 ‘Vows’ promises to give us the wedding we have been waiting for. But before that, it must surely solve the Deputy Chief Reid issue and handle the fate of the Intelligence Unit. And for that, everyone must come together. Because this fight isn’t Voight’s alone.
And yet, can Voight lean on his team? Does he know how to? Or, can he at least lean on ASA Nina Champan? These are important questions, and the answer might just determine who Voight is and what kind of stories this show will be telling going forward. And if we’re honest, we’ve never been more interested.

While I am not in love with how we are getting to the Burzek wedding, I am happy we are here. I would have preferred the case against Reid to have moved further than it did. I would have loved to see more of the wedding, I’m guessing it will only be in the final 10 minutes of the episode. Would have liked to have Upton and/or Dawson in attendance with some updates on each. The silver lining is I was very worried that Bob Ruzek would pass shortly after the wedding, making it very bittersweet for Burzek. Given the time that will be left in the episode, that probably won’t happen.
