Now, do we love that Gilmore Girls is coming to Hallmark? Yes. If we’re giving views to anyone, it is definitely going to be The Hallmark Channel. However, it’s how frequently that they will be airing Gilmore Girls that scares us.
The show will start airing with its pilot episode starting on August 25th. Will it air in sequential order? Yes. It’s airing weekdays from 2-6 pm and on weekends from 8-10 am. Will there be marathons? Yes.
The thing is that we’d rather have older Hallmark movies on repeat or new shows airing. We’d love a lot of other things to be happening, and yes, we know that there are a bunch of reasons that the viewer will never understand. It’s just that the Gilmore Girls is something you rewatch every few years.
Not every day.
But that’s just this writer’s opinion.
Gilmore Girls tells the story of Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory, as they navigate their lives in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. Loralei runs the Dragonfly Inn and drinks a lot of caffeine. Rory is studious and kinda drives everyone crazy. It’s their life with family and their friends.
Gilmore Girls aired for seven seasons, with the seventh and final season airing on The CW, ending on May 15, 2007.
