Although we’re still in summer, thinking about sun and sand, Fall isn’t far off. And that means our favorite shows will be back sooner than we think. CBS, NBC, ABC, and FOX have already announced the premiere dates for new seasons of returning shows and new series. So you don’t miss a thing, here are the full Fall premiere dates for shows we cover.
CBS
CBS begins its rollout of new season premieres on Sunday, October 12. The night kicks off with the premiere of Matlock Season 2. The following week, however, it will return to its regular Thursday schedule at 9/8 pm. Something similar is happening with Elsbeth, which premieres its Season 3 immediately after Matlock but will return to its regular Sunday schedule at 10/11 pm the following week.
On Monday, CBS has the premiere of the new comedy DMV, followed by the new seasons of FBI and Watson. Tuesdays are NCIS night, with all 3 series premiering their seasons. Thursday gets a bit supernatural with the premiere of Ghost Season 5. And on Friday, we have a triple premiere. Fire Country Season 4 arrives, along with the new series Sheriff Country and Boston Blue. Sunday concludes the week with the premiere of Tracker Season 3 and the new series The Road. NBC
NBC is starting its season slate early. Monday, September 22nd, is the premiere of Brilliant Minds Season 2. However, after that, we have to jump to Thursday, September 25th, for Law & Order night with the premiere of the new seasons of its 3 shows. One Chicago’s nighttime show hits our screens on Wednesday, October 1st.
We won’t be able to enjoy new episodes of St. Denis Medical until Monday, November 3rd. And, rounding out the premieres, Happy’s Place Season 2 arrives on Friday, November 7th. The full list is below:

In September, ABC has one premiere scheduled for September: High Potential Season 2 on Monday, the 16th. From there, the premieres move to Wednesday, October 1st, with Shifting Gears and Abbott Elementary premiering their new episodes. Finally, on Thursday, October 16th, 9-1-1 returns, along with its spin-off, 9-1-1: Nashville. The night is closed out by the new season of Grey’s Anatomy. The full list is below:
