For Movies That Is… Not Music Videos
Remember back in another era when we heard all about Taylor Swift directing a movie? We’ve been waiting for any news on it, but we also know that Taylor is insanely busy, so we’ve been patient.
Because if there is one thing that we know about Taylor is that we’ll get the movie from her at the correct time. We’ll get it from her at the time that we need. Taylor knows when the best time is to put something out.
We have faith.
But do we love an update? Absolutely.
The Insneider is reporting that Taylor has brought on screenwriter Alice Birch to help with the script. Birch has written something that we all know and love – she co-wrote Normal People. She also created Dead Ringers and is co-writing the upcoming movie Die My Love.
Birch is booked and busy.
The movie, which Swift is doing with Searchlight, was announced back in 2022. At the time, Searchlight Presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield had this to say about the collaboration, “Taylor is a once in a generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey.”
We can’t wait to see what happens next with this and what the storyline is about.
