Have you ever dreamed of the idyllic Italian coast? Well, you’re in luck! Hotel Costiera will make your dreams come true. Plus, the new Prime Video series brings Jesse Williams, who won us over on Grey’s Anatomy, back to our screens.
In the series, Williams will share the credits with an exceptional Italian and international cast. Alongside him, the cast also includes Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva and Jean-Hugues Anglade.
Hotel Costiera has its own names behind the cameras: Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein and by Giacomo Martelli. He will direct the show. The series is based on an idea by Luca Bernabei, written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill and Francesco Arlanch and co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Luca Bernabei for Lux Vide, a Fremantle company.
The series will consist of six episodes. And will be about “Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half Italian former U.S. Marine. Daniel returns to Italy, the land of his childhood, as a fixer in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels, located on the spectacular coastline of Positano. In addition to dealing with the wealthy guests’ problems, Daniel is also on the trail of Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem Daniel has ever faced.”

In the trailer, we can see that, although Daniel enjoys incredible landscapes, his life in Positano is far from peaceful. What seemed like a boring job turns dangerous when the problem he has to solve is a disappearance. It’s then that Daniel realizes that the extravagant rich people he’s surrounded by have many secrets to hide. And they’re darker than he thought.
But Daniel is willing to go to the end to save Alice. Even if it puts his own life at risk. The question is, will he succeed? And the truth is, we think he will, but from what we can glimpse in the trailer, he won’t be alone. Daniel will meet several people along the way who will be key to getting out of this alive. And we’re totally in for this adventure!
