Chicago P.D. Season 13, Episode 1 ‘Consequences’ looks like it’s going to give us just that, the consequences of the Season 12 finale. And that’s actually so refreshing for One Chicago land that we’re not even sure how to process it. Intelligence wasn’t just reformed, and everything went back to the way it was before Deputy Chief Reid died? Actual stakes? Who would have thought?
This puts the team and Voight in a very different spot than what we’re used to—an interesting one. Uncertainty isn’t really something they’ve had to deal with a lot, not professionally. Now, we’ll have to see if this show, which has never really focused as much on the team aspect, can give us just that: a team coming together to fight for Intelligence and each other.
