Blumhouse made a huge splash at New York Comic Con 2025 with Black Phone 2, their new game Sleep Awake, and of course Five Night’s at Freddy’s 2. And while big surprises like Matthew Lillard literally rolling on stage and Bonnie and Chica making an appearance delighted fans, it’s the cast announcements that we can’t stop thinking about!
First up, fan favorite Kellen Goff. He’s played multiple characters in the actual video games. They range from Funtime Freddy, Fredbear, the daycare attendant, and Glamrock Freddy. When it comes to mainstream media, he’s also voiced characters on Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He’s going to voice Toy Freddy in Five Night’s at Freddy’s 2.
Joining Goff is founder and former-host of the “Theory” Channels MatPat. He made a surprise cameo appearance in Five Nights at Freddy’s as a waiter at Sparky’s Coffee Shop. And he tipped his hat to FNAF and The Game Theorists channel, where he did 83 videos about the franchise, when he said “it’s just a theory.” He’ll be playing Toy Bonnie in the sequel.
Then there’s the biggest announcement if you’re not into the games and more into mainstream media. Megan Fox, known for blockbuster movies like Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is joining the cast as Toy Chica. She might not seem like the obvious choice at first glance. But she’s been doing more voice over work lately. Since 2023 she’s voiced Nitara in Mortal Kombat 1, Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns, and Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition. Also, there’s that time she voiced Lois Lane on Robot Chicken.
Keeping that all in mind, who exactly are these refurbished animatronics? Here’s a quick rundown!
Toy Freddy
A redesign of the OG Freddy Fazbear, this Toy Freddy is a little more round with rosy cheeks. Their ears are smaller with the teeth a little more noticeable. And of course there’s the smaller mouth with a harder shell than the OG Freddy. They are a major antagonist.
Toy Bonnie
Toy Bonnie is another redesign of the OG Bonnie. And honestly, it’s the biggest upgrade when it comes to the animatronics. Instead of indigo, Toy Bonnie is blue with magenta eyelids, rosy cheeks, and buck teeth. And like Toy Freddy and Toy Chica, the redesign is smoother and more hard-shell like. They are a major antagonist.
Toy Chica
Toy Chica is the redesigned version of the OG Chica. What’s different about this animatronic is that their figure is a little more human oriented and curvy. They’re also wearing the equivalent of hot pink shorts. And instead of the bib saying “Let’s Eat!” it says “Let’s Party!” They are a major antagonist.
