After plenty of speculation, Bridgerton Season 4 will premiere early next year. Netflix and Shondaland have announced that the fairy-tale-inspired season will unfold over two parts, consisting of four episodes each. The first will drop on Friday, January 29, 2026, and the second will stream on Friday, February 26, 2026. Given that Bridgerton’s fourth season has already had a Valentine’s Day celebration with this year’s Season of Love event, these premiere dates stir up new rumors among the show’s fans about whether Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek’s season will celebrate the holiday again next year. After all, the final four episodes of their season will premiere a week after Valentine’s Day.
While only time will tell, there is plenty to appreciate in the new poster that features both Yerin Ha’s Sophie and Luke Thompson’s Benedict. Its release comes on the heels of the first poster for Bridgerton Season 4 that teases Sophie’s time as the Lady in Silver at Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball. This poster, which would make an excellent TV tie-in book cover for Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman, is flawless. Its composition, be it the closeness of the leads and using wisteria as a frame, is the most similar to Season 1’s poster.

Benedict is known by everyone, so there’s no need to cover his face. It’s particularly interesting (and book-accurate) that Shondaland confirms that Benedict calls himself “the spare Bridgerton brother.” It seems like Bridgerton Season 4 will play into that nebulous perception of him – from himself and the ton. The first clip of the season shows eligible ladies whispering about him, asking, “Wait, which one is he again?” Sophie’s identity, on the other hand, is a mystery to him, so her mask returns for this poster.
Even with that context, Thompson and Ha’s chemistry as Benedict and Sophie is palpable. That connection, that draw between them, is especially fantastic knowing that the masquerade ball is only the beginning of Benedict and Sophie’s story. If they’re looking at each other like this now, what else awaits the ton’s latest leading couple? The eight-episode season will answer that in a season called the “Season of Love” with the tagline “Unmask true love.”
Regardless, Thompson and Ha’s chemistry has never been a question. It even transcended the Zoom call for their chemistry read. Ha even recently told Elle, “When Luke talks about it, he’s like, ‘Yeah, I definitely felt something with you.’”

As for the setting of the poster, it seems like this could be the balcony from An Offer from a Gentleman. However, it seems more likely that this is the gazebo present in the behind-the-scenes look at the new season. Either way, there’s an emphasis on nature in Bridgerton Season 4’s promotional material. Showrunner Jess Brownell has been teasing that the romance series will be “playing around with the idea of fall…for the first time” since last June. So, it’s exciting to see that feeling come through in these posters. It still feels like Bridgerton with its pastel hues; they’re only warmer, more earthy tones. There’s a change in them, just like there is in Benedict Bridgerton when he meets Sophie Baek.
The focus on nature feels like a tease of what’s to come. Who else remembers when Luke Thompson said, “I’ve said it before, but I do love a wild swim. Stick me in a lake if you can.” Still, one of the season’s first photos depicts Benedict and Sophie outside. More importantly (and scandalously for the Regency era), it shows Benedict kissing Sophie’s bare hand. This poster shows Sophie holding the glove that previously covered that hand. The implications of that alone create a buzz that may help fans pass the time until January. Needless to say, everything about Bridgerton Season 4 so far is nothing short of a fairy tale.
If not, Netflix and Shondaland also shared a new promotional video and three new photos from the upcoming season. Unsurprisingly, they’re stunning. The photos don’t reveal much beyond the masquerade ball. Still, every new glimpse of the occasion feels magical. It’s why only seeing Benedict and Sophie’s hands reaching out for each other in one photo features just as much yearning as their hands brushing as they pass each other on the stairs. That bit in the new teaser is filled with the symbolism and themes of Benedict and Sophie’s story. Not to mention, Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha’s chemistry is electric! Needless to say, everything about Bridgerton Season 4 so far is nothing short of a fairy tale.
