It hasn’t even been a two weeks since the Brilliant Minds Fall Finale and we already miss the show! We’re so excited for the new batch of episodes. And, while the first ten episodes of the season were a rollercoaster ride and we loved them, here are the 5 things we want to see next.
1. Oliver and Charlie Face to Face

After Charlie revealed his true identity to Oliver in the last episode before the holidays, the masks came off. Now there are no secrets between them and Charlie doesn’t have to keep pretending. But we need to know what happens next.
We want to see if Charlie will continue to make everyone believe he’s just another deputy under Oliver’s wing. And we also need the series to show us what Oliver will do now that he knows the truth about Charlie. Will he tell Josh or try to earn his forgiveness?
2. Oliver & Josh

We barely saw Oliver and Josh together in the first half of Brilliant Minds Season 2! And we don’t like that at all. It’s true that the show resolved their situation after Oliver stood them up at the gala in the Season 1 finale, but it was too fleeting. The series didn’t delve into either of their feelings about what happened.
The next thing we knew, Oliver was ready to try again, and Josh was dating someone else. We liked the touch of jealousy, but we felt like we missed a piece of the puzzle. And we need to see much more of these two. Everything important can’t happen off-screen.

3. Carol’s License

The issue of Carol’s license disappeared as quickly as it appeared. There was no clear development explaining what happened or how Carol managed to keep her license. We don’t even know if she did. And she never found out that Dana betrayed her, which could be quite unsettling for Carol, given that she works with Dana often.
So we hope the new episodes will allow Carol to find out the truth about who betrayed her and explain what happened to her license.
4. More Jacob and Markus

Jacob and Markus were missing for most of Brilliant Minds Season 2. In this second half, we need to see more of them than just in two episodes. Please and thank you. The best part is that the Fall Finale left some unresolved storylines involving them, so we’re sure to see plenty of them at the beginning of the new batch of episodes.
We just hope they don’t disappear again.

5. Oliver’s Mental Health

We started Brilliant Minds Season 2 knowing that Oliver would be admitted to a mental institution. As the episodes progressed, we learned more details about what will happen… but they’re still insufficient. We can barely formulate a plausible theory.
So we hope the second half of the season will give us the answers we need.
Brilliant Minds Season 2 airs on Mondays at 10 pm ET on NBC.
Muriel took the fall for Carol and said she directed her to continue counseling Alison. The board gave Carol her job back with the condition that Muriel resign, so she did. Carol’s license wasn’t revoked.
