Part of the fun of interviews is that it feels like you get to spend some time getting to know a different side of the celebrity being interviewed. We’ve all got ideas and have drawn our own conclusions about the people that we admire in photos and on the screen.
We’ve always loved Sophie Turner and loved her IDGAF attitude. At least that is what it came across as to us. The more time went on, we’ve loved more roles than just her role in Game of Thrones. The actress gave some insight into her life and what she’s hoping for in the future.
Turner isn’t just an actress; she is a Mom. Being famous, the long hours of her work, and also trying to maintain a life, can’t be easy. Juggling it all seems tiring.
She shared when speaking with Net-A-Porter, “The mum guilt is there forever. I work all week, and then on the weekends, I’ll spend all day with my kids each day. But if I go out for lunch with a friend, I will run back home because my heart is sinking that I’ve left them.”
This isn’t to be read as she’s out all the time. She’s not. Her girls are her priority, “I mean, I haven’t seen my friends, or I haven’t gone on a date in weeks, months! I just sack off parts of my life sometimes. I only have the capacity for work and family right now. But I’m working on it. I’ll get there.”
We know that trying to balance it all isn’t easy, and we can’t imagine having to do just that.
