What’s better for spooky season than a good murder? Netflix announced that a novel by the queen of mystery is returning to our screens! Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will be a 3-episode miniseries that’s ready to blow our minds. Here’s everything we know so far.
The show will be adapted from Christie’s 1929 novel. The novel is set in 1925, and it follows Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent investigating a deadly prank at a country house party. BAFTA Rising Star Award winner Mia McKenna-Bruce leads the cast as Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent, a young and determined detective. Helena Bonham Carter will play Lady Caterham, and Martin Freeman will play Battle.
The show also features Corey Mylchreest—who conquered us in Queen Charlotte—as Gerry Wade, Ed Bluemel as Jimmy Thesiger, and Nabhaan Rizwan as Ronnie Devereux. Behind the scenes, the series is written by Chris Chibnall, who will also executive produce through his company, Imaginary Friends.
Joining him as executive producers are Suzanne Mackie, Chris Sussman, Andy Stebbing, and Chris Sweeney, who will also direct. Christie’s great-grandson, James Prichard, will also executive produce through Agatha Christie Limited. Joanna Crow will be the producer of the series.

The Plot:
The official synopsis for Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials is: “England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.”
