Chicago P.D. Season 13, Episode 9 ‘Heroes’ is a Trudy Platt-centric episode, and how long have we been asking for one of those? On a show that cycles through character-centric episodes, it feels like there hasn’t been time for Trudy in a while. And she isn’t even in the background of all the episodes all that much, either. And we miss her.
This is a complicated time for cop-centric shows. But then again, isn’t it always? Chicago P.D.‘s problem has always been that it presents cops doing things that are clearly crossing the line as a necessary thing instead of what it is, wrong. We’ll see how they do with that this episode.
