We’re back! High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 ‘NPC’ brings back an important woman from Karadec’s past who’s here to turn his life upside down…and force Morgadec to confront their true feelings for each other. Ready?
Here we go!
Tales from the Past

As usual, High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 ‘NPC’ relied a bit too heavily on the case of the week for our liking. However, it introduced us to an interesting character. Lucia is back to shake up Karadec’s life and stir things up with Morgadec. And we love it!
We think Karadec isn’t telling us the whole story about his relationship with Lucia. He told Morgan in Season 1 that they were engaged, but it all ended because he prioritized his work over her. And now, meeting Lucia, hearing her say that she goes wherever he worked and that she’s not interested in staying in one place for too long, it all seems to make sense.
The puzzle is coming together in our minds. And we think that Lucía needed more than being stuck in Los Angeles solving crimes. But that Karadec decided not to follow her and chose his job over her. Yeah, our imagination is very active, but after watching High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 ‘NPC,’ this is the story that fits best.

Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained

The point is that Lucía returned, but it’s temporary. She doesn’t intend to stay forever. So Karadec is faced with a dilemma. Part of him wants to see what happens with her, to go with the flow…after all, Lucía iñwas important for him. She was his fiancée. But another part of Karadec just wants to run in the opposite direction because he doesn’t want to repeat the story. He doesn’t want to have to choose between her and his job again, feeling that, whatever decision he makes, his heart will end up broken.
But what if everything is different? In High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 ‘NPC,’ Selina and Morgan encourage Karadec to give it a try and see what happens. Maybe this time she’ll stay… or maybe he’ll decide to follow her. Maybe this will help them heal the wounds that are still open between them. Or maybe they can just have a fling together, knowing it has an expiration date. So Karadec takes the plunge and gives Lucía a chance.
Personally, we think Karadec was right to keep his distance. There’s too much history between them for them to have something casual without one of them getting hurt. And we don’t think Lucía wants or should stay in Los Angeles if her dreams and her heart are elsewhere. The same goes for Karadec about leaving Los Angeles. What we do agree on is that this could be an opportunity to bring closure to their story. And they need that closure. However, it won’t come without pain.

Other Stuff in High Potential Season 2 Episode 11 ‘NPC’

- We didn’t miss Karadec telling Morgan that he always takes her words into account.
- That Karadec, someone who loves control so much, would let go and be himself with Lucia shows how much meeting Morgan changed him and helped him grow.
- Morgan’s look at the end of the episode is a reflection of Karadec’s when he saw her with Nick. They’re two lovestruck fools, we swear.
- And that look speaks volumes about how hard she tries to convince herself that she’s happy for Karadec…when, even if she won’t admit it, it hurts to see him with Lucia.
- We missed Nick in this one. We need to know how his dynamic with the team is after what happened!
- We love that Morgan and Elliot can talk about everything so easily. She did well because Elliot trusts her and feels safe.
- We really felt Morgan’s fear with this case. It’s so easy for everything to change in a second.
- The final twist in this case was spectacular!
High Potential Season 2 airs Tuesdays at 9 pm on ABC.
