Valentine’s Day lands in this episode, and it doesn’t exactly bring calm with it. Bailey and Nolan are still dealing with the mess left behind in the previous episode, and it shows almost immediately. They’re not on the same page. John is clearly trying to make the day work — to talk, to reconnect, to do something normal for once. Bailey isn’t interested. She shuts it down before it can even start. No conversation. No compromise. Just the same distant, erratic behavior that’s been hanging over them for a while now.
Chenford, somehow, is in a completely different place. Lucy is spiraling over Tim’s Valentine’s gift. She wants it to be right, but nothing feels right. Tim, meanwhile, is calm. Prepared. He already has something planned and seems very sure Lucy will love it. The promo hints at Lucy finding something by accident — what it is isn’t clear, but it clearly matters. And now we’re stuck waiting to see what she stumbled into!
That lighter mood doesn’t last. As we see in the promo, while on patrol with Celina, Lucy hits a man with her car. It happens fast. She doesn’t see him coming, and suddenly he’s there, jumping onto the vehicle. And it leaves a lot of questions hanging in the air. Is he okay? And more importantly, what does this mean for Lucy? Because knowing this show, nothing ever stays simple for long.
Also, Wopez are having a busy day when a stranger attacks Wesley at a campaign event. And our Wesley is untouchable! But the strangest thing is that this man yells “liar” at him. Why? We’re dying to find out! As if that weren’t enough, Grey and Luna will meet again, and we’re eager to find out where their marriage stands at this point. Miles isn’t having the best of days…but Celina is determined to help him. And we love that because it makes them closer.
